SARAJEVO, April 22 (FENA) - Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PSBiH) Denis Zvizdić met today in Sarajevo with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to BiH, Sadik Babur Girgin.
The two officials discussed the current political and economic situation in BiH and the region. During the meeting, Zvizdić said that BiH and Turkey have good and stable political relations and bilateral cooperation, which is especially successful and intensive in the political, social and cultural areas.
In that context, he emphasized that there were no open issues, and expressed hope that bilateral cooperation would continue to develop for mutual benefit.
The newly appointed Ambassador Girgin said that Turkey sees Bosnia and Herzegovina as a friendly country and stressed that Turkey wants even greater prosperity and progress for our country.
He added that Turkey strongly supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of BiH, as well as the Euro-Atlantic integration of our country.
