SARAJEVO, April 21 (FENA) - BiH Minister of Human Rights and Refugees Miloš Lučić strongly condemned the latest incident in Mostar, when Mirjana Spremo Jančovska's house was set on fire in the Luka settlement.
“This house was not set on fire during the war, and it burned to the ground in peace. I spoke to Ms. Mirjana, who is still in a state of shock and cannot, as she says, believe that she has been left without a family home in this way. During the investigation, the police confirmed to her that the fire was set, and the house was robbed before that,” it is stated in Lučić's reaction.
He appeals to all competent institutions to find the perpetrators of this heinous act and punish them.
“Such incidents send a bad message to everyone, especially to the few Serbs in Mostar who cannot feel safe and at peace while Serb property is being destroyed and that is why we must prevent such and similar incidents in order to build a safer future together,” says Lučić.
