SARAJEVO, April 16 (FENA) - Deputy Chair of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bisera Turković talked today with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Bosnia and Herzegovina Ji Ping.
Ambassador Ping informed Minister Turković that the transport of 50,000 doses of vaccines, which the People's Republic of China donated to Bosnia and Herzegovina, will begin on April 24, and that they will arrive in our country by the end of this month. He added that he would hold talks with representatives of the competent institutions in our country, in order to agree on the details of the delivery and handover of vaccines, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
Minister Turković expressed her gratitude to the People's Republic of China for the significant donation of vaccines, and emphasized that the citizens of our country deeply appreciate the continuous assistance in the fight against the pandemic.
During the meeting, it was pointed out that progress has also been made when it comes to the commercial procurement of vaccines from China, and that deliveries for our country are expected in the coming weeks.
