SARAJEVO, April 15 (FENA) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Zoran Tegeltija talked today in Sarajevo with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia Gordan Grlić Radman about current political and economic topics.
Deputy Chairs of the Council of Ministers Bisera Turković and Vjekoslav Bevanda also attended the meeting and discussed the current political and economic topics, with an emphasis on overcoming the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the possibilities of improving cooperation between the two countries in areas of mutual interest, and the process of European integration.
Minister Grlić Radman informed Chairman Tegeltija about the content of the "non-paper" about BiH that Croatia sent to Brussels.
Chairman Tegeltija emphasized the commitment of the Council of Ministers to European integration, with full respect for the constitutional competencies of all levels of government in BiH and the Dayton Peace Agreement, and the consistent application of the coordination mechanism.
He emphasized that fulfilling the conditions for EU accession and gaining candidate status are priorities of the Council of Ministers, and in that context he expressed the expectation that the European Union will show more readiness to accept new members.
During the talks, Chairman Tegeltija thanked the Government of Croatia and Minister Grlić Radman for the support on the European path, expressing hope that BiH will receive the candidate status this year, the BiH Council of Ministers announced.
