SARAJEVO, April 8 (FENA) - The exhumation of remains that were noticed two days ago during the ongoing construction works on this site begins today in the Sarajevo settlement of Zabrdje, in Avde Palića Street.
Spokeswoman for the BiH Institute for Missing Persons, Emza Fazlić, told FENA that the workers, widening the local road, came across several bone fragments, for which a forensic doctor confirmed to be the remains of human origin and immediately called the authorities. Works at that location have been suspended until the end of the exhumation.
It is assumed that these are the remains of at least one person.
“Today, the remains will be exhumed by the order of the Court of BiH,” stated Fazlić.
