SARAJEVO, April 4 (FENA) - BiH Presidency member Željko Komšić said that he hopes the international community would condemn Milorad Dodik's latest speculations about Republika Srpska's independence.
Komšić reacted to the statement of Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, Milorad Dodik, that the peaceful separation in BiH should be accelerated and that he believes that the time will come soon, and assessed that the Republika Srpska as an independent state would certainly have a better standard.
Dodik pointed out that he does not believe in the future of BiH's existence and emphasized that in the political sense, he advocated a peaceful separation of BiH and the establishment of the Republika Srpska as an independent state.
"Messages from Mr. Dodik on the declaration of independence of the RS entity and the formation of the parity of the so-called Herceg Bosna are contrary to the Dayton Agreement and significantly disrupt peace and stability in the region. I hope that the representatives of the international community in BiH will condemn such announcements, which I would call speculations and unnecessary raising of tensions, even though I am not sure that it is only speculation and raising of tensions," said Komšić for FENA.
