SARAJEVO, March 31 (FENA) - The House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament did not support the program of this year's work of the Government of the Federation of BiH by a majority vote at the online session held yesterday.

Out of the required 50, 47 deputies voted for the program, 16 were against and 12 abstained.

Explaining the program to MPs before the vote, FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić said that it was made based on adopted strategic documents, which, among other things, defined the bearers of activities, deadlines and expected results.

The priority in the work of the Government was to create conditions for economic recovery in the Federation of BiH and to continue strengthening the rule of law and the fight against the COVID pandemic.

The Government planned to work on passing nearly a hundred laws this year, eight strategies and several other necessary acts.

According to Novalić, the work program was aimed at strengthening all segments of life in the FBiH, as well as strengthening the resilience of the health sector in a pandemic.

“We will get out of this difficult situation,” the Prime Minister told the citizens of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina after explaining to the deputies the proposal of the Government's work program, and opponents of the document explained that they will not vote for it because, in their opinion, it was not a program that would respond to current problems in FBiH.
