BANJA LUKA, March 26 (FENA) - A key phase of the gasification project has been finished today in the Bosanski Brod Oil Refinery - a gas pipeline under the Sava riverbed was installed, which will enable the connection of the gas pipeline from the Republic of Croatia with the previously built gas pipeline network on the Oil Refinery in Bosanski Brod.
The installation of the new part of the direct gas pipeline was performed by modern application of horizontal drilling technology with the help of special equipment and mechanisms.
The final phase in the construction of the direct gas pipeline will be the construction of valve assemblies on both sides of Sava River, connection to the existing gas network at the Refinery, testing of the gas pipeline, adjustment of the management system, and trial commissioning.
The commissioning of the direct gas pipeline is planned for the second quarter of 2021, which corresponds to the current dynamics of works, announced the Press Service of "OPTIMA Group" d.o.o. Banja Luka.
