Astra Zeneca vaccines arrive in BiH in a new delivery through COVAX mechanism

SARAJEVO, March 25 (FENA) - This evening, the shipment of AstraZeneca vaccines purchased under the COVAX mechanism was delivered at the Sarajevo International Airport.

In accordance with the previous announcement, 26,400 doses were delivered. Immediately upon arrival, the vaccines were forwarded to the end users, the competent entity authorities.

Earlier today, 23,400 doses of Pfizer vaccines were delivered to BiH which marked the start of vaccine deliveries through the COVAX mechanism,stated the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH.
