NEUM, March 18 (FENA) - I am sure that we, on our Euro-Atlantic path, must follow our friends, the Republic of Croatia, in order to reach our goal much faster compared to the pace we have had in the last 10 years, and I believe that through all three panels at today's conference "Transformation potential of Euro-Atlantic processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina", we will receive a clear message from experts in this regard," said on Thursday in Neum the Speaker of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, Dragan Čović.
"I believe that we will get a clear enough framework that to try to find, through the executive, legislative and political powers, quality solutions for Bosnia and Herzegovina, and following the conclusions of this conference, we will succeed," said Čović.
He stressed the need to find an organizational model for BiH that will respect the highest European democratic standards.
"On the other hand, this model should take into account all the key features of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is our history, our multiculturalism and multiethnicity, and everything we can relate to it, and finally create a rational, efficient and manageable country that we do not have today," said Čović.
He welcomed all those who contributed to the organizing of this conference for the fourth time in a row, in these circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic.
"I would like to thank the rectors of the University of Mostar, the University of Sarajevo, Minister Grlić Radman, but also all those who extended a hand to talk today about the challenges of Bosnia and Herzegovina through professional and scientific expertise," concluded Čović.
