Osmanović: Minister Gudeljević must immediately sign an additional agreement

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, March 3 (FENA) - Chairman of the SDA caucus in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Adil Osmanović, said that Minister of Civil Affairs, Ankica Gudeljević, must immediately finalize the necessary agreement on compensation and insurance, which is needed for delivery of vaccines through COVAX program.

“Although this is a subsequently added obligation, and even a certain injustice towards BiH that comes from COVAX, there is no time to lose. BiH institutions must take responsibility, as the authorities of other countries have done, and urgently finalize this agreement so that COVAX would no longer have an excuse to prolong the delivery of vaccines,” he believes.

According to him, it is scandalous that Minister Gudeljević has not completed her obligations regarding the agreement to this day.

“The fact that she sent that agreement for approval to lower levels of government, which is completely unnecessary, indicates that she is prevented by the policy of derogating the state from the lives of citizens. This is absolutely inadmissible and the Minister must immediately fulfill her obligations because the delivery of vaccines now depends exclusively on that,” concluded Osmanović.
