SARAJEVO, January 31 (FENA) - Deputy Chair of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bisera Turković today condemned the act of vandalism that took place last night in the center of Sarajevo.
“I condemn the destruction of the European Union flag on the building of the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Sarajevo. This act of vandalism committed by individuals is unacceptable to us, it does not represent the position of the majority of the citizens of our country and there is no place for it in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our firm and strategic commitment is membership in the European Union, but also the improvement of building good neighborly relations with the Republic of Croatia on the basis of respect and understanding. I expect the competent investigative bodies in Bosnia and Herzegovina to shed light on this unpleasant event as soon as possible,” said Turković, announced the Press Service of the MoFA of BiH.
