SARAJEVO, January 24 (FENA) – The public enterprise FBiH Motorways in 2020 generated revenue from toll collection in the amount of 36,360,191.22 KM without VAT, it was confirmed from that company for FENA.
Revenue from toll collection is used to finance the costs of regular operations.
So far, 113 kilometers of highway have been built on Corridor 5-C through BiH (Zenica North - Zenica South, Zenica South - Tarčin, Međugorje - Bijača and Svilaj - Odžak).
In November 2020, 11 new kilometers of the motorway on the Zenica bypass have been opened to traffic, and the works on the construction of the Buna - Počitelj sub-section are nearing completion.
Works on the sections Počitelj - Zvirovići, Tarčin - Ivan, Tunnel Ivan, Vranduk - Ponirak and Ponirak - Vraca are in progress.
Also, in November 2020, a 5.5-kilometer-long Poprikuša-Nemila section agreement was signed.
Tender procedures have been initiated for the sections Tunel Kvanj - Buna, Nemila - Vranduk, and Putnikovo brdo - Medakovo.
