SARAJEVO, January 21 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović last night extended congratulations to the newly inaugurated US President, Joseph Biden.
"Dear President Biden, I wholeheartedly congratulate you on taking the oath and officially assuming the office of President of the United States of America. I am absolutely confident that with your experience, democratic capacity, and policies that promote freedom, equality, and respect for human dignity, you will successfully overcome all the challenges facing the American nation.
Your inspired address at the inauguration instills hope not only in the great American nation, but in all well-intentioned people around the world in a moment when we are hoping for a period of global stabilization, understanding, and renewal of multilateralism as a mechanism to guarantee world progress.
Appreciating you as a great friend of my country, I am sure that during your tenure, the friendly and partnership relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United States will be further strengthened. Please, convey my deepest congratulations to your Vice President Kamala Harris," Džaferović wrote in his message to Biden.
