Ambassador of France to BiH visits Service for Foreigners' Affairs

SARAJEVO, January 19 (FENA) - Ambassador of the Republic of France to BiH Christine Toudic visited today the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs and met with the Director of the Service Slobodan Ujić and Deputy Director Mirsad Buzar.

The Director of the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs welcomed Ambassador Toudic and wished her success in her future diplomatic mission. The Ambassador was informed about the most important activities of the Service for Foreigners' Affairs as well as about the current migrant situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Also, the Director of the Service, Slobodan Ujić, emphasized that one of the challenges of the Service is still the lack of human and technical capacities. The interlocutors agreed that further strengthening of the capacity of the Service is needed in order to respond even more efficiently to the increased influx of migrants in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Director Ujić thanked the Ambassador of the Republic of France, Christine Toudic, for the visit and expressed his belief that the successful cooperation will continue, the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs said.
