SARAJEVO, January 12 (FENA) – An MP from the Bosniak caucus in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Bećirović (SDP) asked Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Zoran Tegeltija (SNSD), at today's session, why the authorities of the BiH entity Republika Srpska did not remove the illegally built church from the land of Fata Orlović in Konjević Polje.

He pointed out that the European Court of Human Rights also determined that the European Convention on Human Rights and Freedoms was violated in that case, but that this injustice continues.

“These are violations of basic human rights, the Constitution of BiH, Annex 7 of the Dayton Agreement, the decision of the Commission for Property Claims of Displaced Persons and Refugees, the decision of the relevant state ministry, the European Convention on Human Rights and Freedoms and the European Court of Human Rights,” said Bećirović.

Tegeltija replied that all movable property had been removed from that church, and that the process of removing the church itself had been stopped due to coronavirus pandemic and would be resumed in the spring of this year.
