SARAJEVO, December 28 (FENA) - Ensuring a sustainable research infrastructure has been a basic precondition for the research community to conduct high-quality research.
After the Center for Evaluation and Social Research (CREDI) developed the first infrastructure for social research in BiH, and established cooperation with two EU research infrastructure networks (ERIC), access to research infrastructures in the EU has been enabled to researchers in the field of social sciences from BiH, announced CREDI today.
In this way, universities in BiH, as the last in the region, have finally been provided with direct access to European research infrastructures and all resources and opportunities for cooperation with EU research institutions in the field of social sciences.
"Thus, researchers in BiH will be able to make a greater contribution to ensuring quality data and analysis that will contribute to a better response of governments and society as a whole to increasingly demanding societal challenges by creating relevant and effective policies. Also, the use of CREDI infrastructure, and resources and opportunities offered by European research infrastructures, will enable further strengthening of research capacities in BiH through concrete trainings and practical work," it is stated in the statement from CREDI.
