MOSTAR, December 21 (FENA) - According to the first preliminary results of the elections for the City Council of the CIty of Mostar, the HDZ BiH list won the most votes in the city constituency, 6,310, and the Coalition for Mostar (SDA, SBB, DF, Party for BiH, BPS) 3,820 votes.
According to data released by the BiH Central Election Commission at a press conference at midnight, the Croat Republican Party (HRS) won 1,056 votes, the BH Bloc got 902 votes, the "Stay Here" list got 522 votes, while the HDZ 1990 won 350 votes and the Platform for Progress received 305 votes.
In total, it is just over 13,000 votes, or about 25 percent of the total number of voters who voted on Sunday.
Thirteen out of a total of 35 seats in the Mostar City Council are distributed from the city area constituency. The remaining 22 seats are allocated through the remaining six constituencies.
The CEC BiH announced that they would release updated information on the results of the Mostar elections at 9 am on Monday morning.
