MOSTAR, December 20 (FENA) - The turnout in the 2020 Local Elections in Mostar by 14.00 hrs. was 38.1 percent, which is 2.9 percent more than the turnout at the same time in the regular local elections, held on 15 November, and this is encouraging, the Coalition "Under the Magnifying Glass" stated today.
"It is encouraging that not a single case of a 'Bulgarian train' has been recorded so far (voters come to the polls with already marked ballots, and they take off with empty ones), there were no cases of open persuasion to vote for a certain political entity or intimidation or pressure on voters," the Coalition underlined.
They noted that one to ten cases of voting without valid identification documents were observed at three polling stations. There were also cases of rejecting voters from the polling stations because they were not in the Central Voters' Register which was recorded in more than 50 percent of polling stations (up to 10 such cases).
Observers of the Coalition "Under the Magnifying Glass" recorded family voting in two-thirds of polling stations (up to 10 cases of this type of irregularity). In 32 percent of polling stations, one person assisted a larger number of voters to vote in the booth.
They added that their observers were not allowed unhindered monitoring of the election process at three polling stations, and that objections were recorded by observers at nine polling stations.

The next press conference will be held at 21.00 hrs., when the Coalition "Under the Magnifying Glass" will provide information on the voting process and the closing of polling stations.
