MOSTAR, December 18 (FENA) - The Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, on Friday expressed his full support to the HDZ BiH and the party's list holder for the Constituency of the City of Mostar, Marijo Kordić.
"Ahead of the elections on Sunday, December 20, when the citizens of Mostar elect a new City Council after 12 years, I want to say that this is good for the democratic legitimacy of the new councilors, good for the future of Mostar - a multicultural city, an important city in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a city of science, culture and sports", said the Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković in the message he sent on the eve of Mostar elections.
He expressed his desire that these elections take place in the best order and thus complete the local elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"As the president of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), I would like to support our sister party - the HDZ Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is running in this election with a candidate for mayor, Dr. Marijo Kordić. I want to give him and his fellow candidates full support. I believe that after their campaign, they will receive strong support from his fellow Mostariand and, together with others, will lead the City on the path of economic development, social inclusion and a better life for all people in Mostar," Plenković said.
