Conference "Management of glass packaging in the Western Balkans"

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, December 17 (FENA) - The amount of recycled glass packaging in the Western Balkans region is still far from the level prescribed by the European Union. In order to enable the economic effects of glass recycling, it is necessary to significantly increase the quantities of collected glass packaging.

That is why GIZ, in cooperation with packaging waste operators - companies Ekopak (BiH), Sekopak (Serbia) and Pakomak (Northern Macedonia) has launched a regional project "Management of glass packaging in the Western Balkans", which is implemented in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and North Macedonia, with NALED as an implementation partner.

On that occasion, a regional on-line press conference organized by the German Organization for International Cooperation - GIZ, the National Alliance for Local Economic Development NALED from Serbia and packaging waste operators Ekopak, Sekopak and Pakomak will be held on Friday, where basic goals will be presented and ways of implementing the project, it was announced from Ekopak.

The conference can be attended via the following link https://crn.interpret.world/loginlink?token=uprstakl.
