MOSTAR, December 16 (FENA) - During his visit to Mostar today, the SDA President Bakir Izetbegović said that Mostar should be a city of prosperity, a united city, a city where young people want to stay and see their perspective, a city of developed tourism and economy, all that Mostar deserves to be.
He is convinced that a team of young people led by the carrier of the list of the Coalition for Mostar, Zlatko Guzin, can "make such a Mostar a reality in the time ahead of us".
After journalists commented that the HDZ BiH would not agree to changes to the Statute of the City of Mostar until the negotiations on changes to the Election Law have been completed, Izetbegović pointed out that he hopes "that the third set of blockades would not take place, because they currently have blocked the functioning of the Constitutional Court, and for the past two years, we are witnessing a blockade of the will of the citizens since the last general elections by preventing the forming of the government structure at the FBiH level."
"If they do it with Mostar as well, then they would have added a third blockade," said Izetbegović, stating that then they would be forced to break the shackles placed upon the majority in the parliaments.
With such an attitude and the desire to further strengthen the position of the Houses of Peoples, democracy is being further stifled in BiH, noted Izetbegović.
