HJCP session postponed due to overlap with Subcommittee meeting

SARAJEVO, December 10 (FENA) - The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HJPC BiH) informs the public that the session scheduled for December 16 and 17 has been moved to December 15 and 16, 2020 due to information from the Directorate for European integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina that the session of the Subcommittee on Freedom, Justice and Security between the European Union and Bosnia and Herzegovina (Subcommittee), in which the participation of the HJPC BiH is also planned, was moved from 10 and 11 December 2020 to 17. and December 18, 2020.

Since the session of the Subcommittee is attended by three members of the Council, the Director and Deputy Director of the Secretariat of the HJPC BiH and the heads of certain departments of the Secretariat of the HJPC BiH, the session of the HJPC BiH was postponed to December 15 and 16, 2020.

The HJPC notes that this is not the only session of the HJPC BiH that has been postponed due to the impossibility of ensuring a quorum or due to other objective reasons for non-maintenance in accordance with the adopted Framework Plan.
