SARAJEVO, December 9 (FENA) - The Court of BiH confirmed, on 27 November 2020, an indictment in the case of Indira Dajić-Hukić and others charging the accused Indira Dajić Hukić, Ivo Kobaša and Mladen Mijić with the commission of the criminal offense of Accepting Gifts and Other Forms of Benefit under Article 217(2) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The indictment alleges that, during the period between 16 July 2020 and 29 September 2020, in the capacity of officials of the Veterinary Office of BiH, while performing the tasks and duties of border veterinary inspectors, as official persons in the institutions of BiH, the accused requested and accepted gifts for their own benefit.
The accused requested and accepted monetary gifts from persons dealing with the import of live animals, food and products of animal origin in order to perform within their official authority the acts they should perform as provided for in the Veterinary Law in BiH and other related regulations, stated the BiH Court.
