Seven bodies exhumed in Greda and Šušnjari

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, December 4 (FENA) - The complete remains of seven people were exhumed at the Greda and Šušnjari sites in the Sanski Most municipality, the Institute for Missing Persons of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.

It is presumed that they are victims of Serb nationality, who disappeared in the area of Sanski Most in October 1995.

At the Šušnjari cemetery site, the remains of a man and a woman were found in coffins and covered with sacks.

The remaining five victims were found in the Greda cemetery. They were wrapped in blankets and buried in individual coffins.

The bodies were transferred to the Šejkovača Identification Center in Sanski Most for criminal-technical and forensic-medical processing, as well as the removal of bone marrow for identification using the DNA method.

The exhumations were conducted by the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina by order of the Court of BiH.
