In the last three months, 310 foreign nationals removed from BiH territory

SARAJEVO, December 2 (FENA) - As a result of continuous operational activities, the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs (SPS) in the last three months, due to illegal entry or stay, imposed a measure of expulsion for 310 foreign citizens with a ban on entry and residence in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including citizens of Afghanistan, Pakistan, Morocco, Bangladesh, Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria, Nepal, and Turkey.

In November alone, the expulsion measure was imposed on 114 foreign nationals.

These foreign nationals are placed under surveillance in the Immigration Center or their movement to a certain place is restricted until they leave the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the last three months, the service has removed 310 foreign citizens from the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

They are mostly citizens of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Morocco, Tunisia, Iraq, Bangladesh, and Turkey.

Foreign nationals were previously ordered to be deported and stayed under supervision at the Immigration Center until they were removed from the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During November, 92 foreign citizens were removed from the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Since the beginning of 2020, the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs has registered 15,520 migrants, which is 46 percent less than in the same period last year when the Service registered 28,789 migrants.
