BiH exports drop by 11 percent in the past ten months, imports by 15 percent

SARAJEVO, November 23 (FENA) - Exports from BiH in the first ten months of this year amounted to eight billion and 595 million KM, which is 11.2 percent less than in the same period last year, while imports amounted to 13 billion and 922 million KM and were lower by 14.8 percent, the BiH Statistics Agency announced. 

The imports-exports ratio amounted to 61.7 percent, and the foreign trade deficit amounted to five billion and 327 million KM.

Exports to CEFTA countries amounted to 1 billion and 363 million KM, which is 13.4 less than in the same period last year, while imports amounted to 1 billion and 770 million KM, which is 11.7 percent less.

The imports-exports ratio with CEFTA countries was 77 percent.

Exports to the countries of the European Union amounted to six billion and 268 million KM, which is 11.1 percent less, while imports amounted to eight billion and 467 million KM and are lower by 15.4 percent compared to the same period last year.

The imports-exports ratio with EU was 74 percent.
