SARAJEVO, November 17 (FENA) - The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HJPC BiH) has scheduled a session for November 18 and 19 at which, among other things, they will discuss - Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on HJPC -in BiH and the Proposal of Amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the HJPC, HJPC confirmed for FENA.
Based on decisions on the actions of institutions and the organization of work to protect life and health during the epidemic caused by the Covid-19 virus, the session of the HJPC BiH will be held in electronic form, via the Webex application.
The agenda of the session also includes Information on cooperation with the USAID Justice Against Corruption Project, i.e. the Draft Individualized Training Program for Prosecutors for Working on High-Level Corruption and Organized Crime Cases.
As planned, the session will consider - the Draft Law on the protection of the right to trial within a reasonable time at the level of BiH, and the Proposal of the Law on the protection of the right to trial within a reasonable time of the Brčko District of BiH.
According to the agenda, the HJPC should also comment on the Information on the work of the Office of the Disciplinary Counsel of the HJPC BiH for the third quarter of this year.
