SARAJEVO, October 27 (FENA) - BiH Presidency Chairman Šefik Džaferović talked today with the High Representative for BiH Valentin Inzko about the current political situation in BiH and the continuation of reforms that will enable Bosnia and Herzegovina to obtain candidate status for EU membership.
Džaferović pointed out that the latest statements, which hint at the declaration of SNSD and HDZ which would ultimately demand in organizing the state of BiH only at the request of these two parties with the threat of ethnic divisions, pose a threat to the stability of BiH and the entire region.
He emphasized that the imperative for everyone in BiH is strict observance of all provisions of the Dayton Peace Agreement, the Constitution of BiH and all adopted laws, and that nothing that is contrary to that and European standards will be accepted.
Džaferović emphasized that he demands from the representatives of the international community to fulfill their mandate prescribed by the Dayton Peace Agreement, in order to prevent new political crises and the negative consequences that may result from that.
He expects that the High Representative Valentin Inzko will react in accordance with his mandate and the Dayton Peace Agreement, the Presidency of BiH announced.
