SARAJEVO/PRIŠTINA, October 23 (FENA) - For the fifth time in a row, a business delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the financial support of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, participated in the 20th International Fair of Agribusiness, Food, Beverage and Gastronomy "AGROKOS 2020" in Pristina, Kosovo.
This year, member companies of AS Holding - AS Jelah, Klas Sarajevo, Sprind Sarajevo, Vispak Visoko, AC Food Velika Kladuša and Solana from Tuzla, exhibited their products at the BiH stand.
At the opening, the Director of the Fair, Bekim Xhafa expressed his gratitude to the BiH business delegation and the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of BiH for supporting this fair, which stood by the businesses during customs barriers, the current visa regime and the Covid pandemic, thus giving an opportunity to BiH producers to return on the Kosovo market.
On that occasion, the President of the FBiH Chamber of Commerce, Mirsad Jašarspahić, thanked the organizers for their hospitality and long-term cooperation, emphasizing the great importance of joint activities in eliminating one hundred percent of customs duties on goods of BiH origin, as well as unreserved support in organizing participation of BiHbusinesses at the AGROKOS fair in the past five years.
Export Director of AS Holding Vedad Halilović held a video presentation of AS Holding, which stirred a lot of interest of domestic businesspeople. As one of the largest food producers in this part of Europe, AS Holding has expressed interest in the Kosovo market.
"One of the biggest obstacles to even better business cooperation is the current visa regime, which really represents a big problem for the unhindered movement of people, goods and services," Halilović pointed out, stated the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of BiH.
