SARAJEVO, October 21 (FENA) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Zoran Tegeltija talked today via video link with the newly appointed and former executive director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Paul Hilbers and Anthony de Lannoy.
The officials discussed the continuation of cooperation with this financial institution, in the context of opening the process of negotiations on a new arrangement, which will be of great help in overcoming the economic and social crisis caused by the coronary virus pandemic.
Chairman Tegeltija pointed out that the post-pandemic recovery will require the full engagement of all levels of government in BiH in order to improve the investment climate, and pointed out the importance of joint action in efforts to recover the health and business sector, which have been extremely affected by this crisis.
Tegeltija thanked the former IMF Executive Director de Lannoy for the good cooperation and expressed support, and wished the newly appointed Executive Director Hilbers a successful mandate, stated the BiH Council of Ministers.
