SARAJEVO, October 20 (FENA) - Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina Gordana Tadić met with Police Attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of France in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lieutenant Colonel Philippe Gangloff and Court Liaison Officer Emmanuelle Legrand.
They discussed the cooperation of partner prosecutorial and police institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of France, especially in the segment of operational cooperation of institutions in the process of strengthening the rule of law.
One of the topics of the meeting was cooperation and exchange of experiences and good practices of France and BiH in the fight against terrorism, activities in the process of deradicalization and the fight against human trafficking.
They also talked about the need to continue the activities of the EU4Justice project with the support of the European Union and the GIP-Justice Coopération Internationale (JCI), which refers to the fight against organized crime and corruption in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as strengthening cooperation between countries in the region.
Tadić pointed out that the Prosecutor's Office of BiH has good and open cooperation with partner institutions of France, and that in the past several forms of cooperation have been realized both in specific cases and in general in the field of strengthening the rule of law and security, and underlined that the Prosecutor's Office of BiH is open for cooperation in the future, the Prosecutor’s Office announced.
