SARAJEVO, October 16 (FENA) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović talked today with a delegation of the Council of Congress of Bosniak Intellectuals (VKBI) about the activities of VKBI and projects implemented under the auspices of that organization.
The meeting was attended by academician prof. dr. Hasnija Muratagić-Tuna, academician prof. Dr. Dževad Jahić, prof. Dr. Kasim Trnka, prof. Dr. Hasan Muratović and Secretary General Emir Zlatar.
VKBI implements projects related to identity issues such as the Dictionary of the Bosnian Language, the Encyclopedia of Bosnia and Herzegovina and a number of other activities that significantly contribute to the affirmation of the national identity of Bosniaks.
The meeting also discussed cooperation and coordination of the work of Bosniak national councils in all countries where Bosniaks live, as well as the problems that VKBI encounters in its work and project implementation.
Chairman Džaferović provided full support to the work of VKBI, emphasizing that the activities of VKBI, which is one of the key national organizations of Bosniaks, are extremely important, the Presidency of BiH stated.
