SARAJEVO, October 9 (FENA) - Deputy Minister of Defense of BiH for Resource Management Mirko Okolić received in an official visit the Commander of the NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo, Brigadier General William Edwards, with whom he discussed the current cooperation with the NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo, but also the upcoming cooperation projects.
Okolić also presented some of the vital problems that MoD and AF BiH are facing, including the inoperability of helicopters of the AF BiH, which may lead to the impossibility of carrying out the basic mission of assisting the civilian population during accidents and weather disasters. He also emphasized the importance of solving this problem as soon as possible.
General Edwards was interested in the implementation of the "Reform Program", and expressed a desire for greater communication with the BiH MoD in order to achieve even better results, the BiH Ministry of Defense announced.
