SARAJEVO, October 7 (FENA) - The Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fadil Novalić, met today with the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to BiH, Sultan Bin Ali Al-Khater. The interlocutors agreed that the relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Qatar are very good, as well as that there are numerous opportunities for enhancement of economic and trade cooperation.
Prime Minister Novalić commended the experience with Qatar's partners and investors, and pointed out the commitment of the FBiH Government to, in accordance with its competencies, work on creating conditions for better cooperation.
“Qataris are good partners and investors in Bosnia and Herzegovina and we are at their disposal,” FBiH Prime Minister emphasized.
The interlocutors exchanged opinions and considered possibilities on ways to improve economic cooperation. The Ambassador informed the Prime Minister that an association of Qatari companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina is being formed, which seeks to improve their business, but also to open opportunities for new investments.
Ambassador Al-Khater informed Novalić that there is a law in Qatar that allows BiH citizens the right to own and use real estate and that the adoption of such a law in BiH, on the principle of reciprocity, would contribute to increased investment in all sectors, which would significantly improve economic cooperation, announced the Press Service of the Government of FBiH.
