SARAJEVO, October 6 (FENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden Ann Linde and Minister of the Interior of that country Mikael Damberg will arrive today in an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
As announced, the delegation will meet with members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Foreign Minister Bisera Turković and BiH Security Minister Selmo Cikotić.
Meetings with representatives of civil society organizations as well as with members of the international community in Bosnia and Herzegovina are also planned.
“The goal of this visit is further strengthening of already good cooperation of Sweden and Bosnia and Herzegovina, talks on the development process within the country and the region, the progress regarding the EU reforms and Sweden's continuous support to reform efforts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will serve the citizens and enable the country to move forward on the EU path,” it is said in the statement.
The main focus of the visit will be on the reforms and joint efforts towards strengthening the rule of law and security in Europe, through the fight against organized crime.
