SARAJEVO, September 30 (FENA) - A session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH ended before the agenda was determined because it was found that the online system is not functioning properly.
Due to this fact it is difficult to hold online sessions, so the deputies adopted a conclusion according to which it was established that working in such conditions would be impossible.
"There are technical difficulties with online sessions every time. This time they escalated as a large number of people were present on the online platform, and a few were sitting in the hall of the FBiH Parliament. We concluded that it is very difficult to work in this way and that we need a space where we can work with the physical presence of MPs.
We concluded that this amphitheater is not suitable for work at a time when epidemiological measures should be respected," Chairman of the House of Representatives, Mirsad Zaimović, told FENA after the session.
The continuation of the session could be held next week, as soon as a decision is made regarding the space for holding sessions.
The House of Representatives received a rejection from the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH after a request to use their premises.
"In our opinion, it would be best to hold sessions there, but we were rejected several times. We now have in mind several public spaces, and the task force will visit those spaces and determine whether there have working conditions or not. If not, then we will do a public call and ask for an adequate space that the Parliament would pay for, and we would have the opportunity for everyone to attend the sessions," Zaimović added.
