SARAJEVO, September 15 (FENA) - The average monthly net salary per employee in the Federation of BiH for July 2020 amounted to 971 KM, which is nominally higher by 1.9 percent, and in real terms by 2.2 percent compared to the previous month.
Compared to the same month last year, the average monthly net salary per employee in July 2020 was nominally higher by 3.3 percent and in real terms by 4.7 percent.
The average monthly gross salary earning in July 2020 in the Federation of BiH amounts to 1.498 KM and is nominally higher by 2.0 percent, and in real terms by 2.3 percent compared to the previous month, according to the latest data from the FBiH Statistics Agency.
In July 2020, the total number of employees in the Federation of BiH amounted to 516,690 and compared to the previous month, the total number of employees decreased by 0.3 percent.
The number of unemployed persons in July 2020 compared to the previous month increased by 1.2 percent, and the number of unemployed women decreased by 0.4 percent.
The registered unemployment rate in July 2020 was 38.9 percent.
