SARAJEVO, September 8 (FENA) - Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fadil Novalić visited Raisu-l-ulama of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina Husein ef. Kavazović today.
They discussed the implementation of the Law on Freedom and Legal Position of Churches and Religious Communities in BiH, which is being implemented at the entity level. In particular, they talked about the possibility of implementing the part of the Law that refers to financing of contributions to the salaries of religious officials of religious communities covered by this law.
They also talked about the obligation of the Government of FBiH to finance the work of the Interreligious Council in BiH, based on the previously signed mutual agreement.
They agreed that the FBiH Government, at its next session, will try to resolve the issue of the annual participation of the Federation of BiH in financing the work of the Interreligious Council in BiH, the PR Office of the FBiH Government stated.
