SARAJEVO, September 3 (FENA) - President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Bakir Izetbegović received today the Head of the European Union Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ambassador Johann Sattler.
The main topic of the meeting was the fulfillment of the 14 priorities from the Opinion of the European Commission on Bosnia and Herzegovina's application for membership in the European Union.
The interlocutors said that a positive step was the conduct of the elections in Mostar and the formation of the Parliamentary Committee for Stabilization and Association, which fulfilled part of the priorities, but that the current dynamics of implementation was insufficient.
Representatives of the SDA expressed support for the accelerated implementation of priorities in order to give new impetus to BiH's European path.
The two emphasized that the priority is to strengthen the rule of law through judicial reform that would bring this pillar of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina closer to European standards and contribute to strengthening the legal security for the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the SDA said.
