Tadić with representatives of a project aimed at fighting serious crime

SARAJEVO, September 2 (FENA) - Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina Gordana Tadić met with representatives of the project "Countering Serious Crime in the Western Balkans - IPA 2019" to review activities and achieved results from the last phase of the project, financed from IPA 2017.

At the same time, the meeting was an opportunity to plan future activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with the Western Balkan countries as well as in cooperation with the EU institutions and networks relevant to the fight against organized crime.

This project is co-financed by the European Commission, the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Government of Italy, and is implemented by the German GIZ together with the Dutch CILC and the Italian Ministry of the Interior.

The Chief Prosecutor spoke with Malča Gabrijelčić, the outgoing EU Resident Representative for BiH from the project, and Alenka Ranzinger, who has been appointed as the new EU Resident Prosecutor, together with Project Legal Adviser for BiH, Amina Mašović, stated the BiH Prosecutor's Office.

The Fight against Serious Crime in the Western Balkans - IPA 2019 project is extremely important for the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and the process of strengthening the rule of law, especially for prosecutors and staff from the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption.
