Radončić alleges a case of interfering in the upcoming elections in Montenegro

FENA Muhamed Hadžibegić

SARAJEVO, August 24 (FENA) - President of the Alliance for a Better Future of BiH (SBB) Fahrudin Radončić today extended a request to the Chairman of the Joint Committee for Supervision of the Work of the Intelligence and Security Agency (OSA) Nermin Nikšić in connection to the alleged interfering of foreign intelligence services in the elections to be held in Montenegro on August 30.

At a press conference in Sarajevo, Radončić said that "the planned intelligence activities, which the President of Montenegro Milo Đukanović publicly warned against, interfered in the domestic affairs of Montenegro in a way that, as the President of Montenegro said, the entire activity was coordinated by the intelligence sector in Serbia."

Radončić than noted that Đukanović precisely said that the worst possible lies have been spreading about Montenegro on a web portal from Belgrade. He pointed out that the citizens of Montenegro have the right to elect the government that will best represent and lead them in the future, without any outside interference.

"I ask you to schedule a session of the Joint Committee for Supervision of the Work of the Intelligence and Security Agency of BiH as soon as possible. I will also request the full engagement of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH to take over the investigation because we are talking about organized crime, money laundering, endangering the national interests of BiH, large tax evasion, obstruction of justice and several other crimes," Radončić wrote in a letter to the chairman of the joint committee, Nermin Nikšić, and read from it at the press conference.

President of the Alliance for a Better Future of BiH (SBB) also referred to the functioning of the ruling coalition, saying that the SBB was not joking when they said that they were exiting the government gradually.

"We will leave the government first at the state level, then at the FBiH level and then at the cantonal level, and we said it transparently without doing something behind someone's back," said Radončić.

He pointed out that the ministers from the SBB in the FBiH Government will not vote for any appointments until a new parliamentary majority is formed without the SBB, "but as responsible people, they will vote for everything concerning the interests of the citizens."
