'Heart of Sarajevo' award for best feature film goes to Morina's film 'Exile'

SARAJEVO, August 20 (FENA) - The awards of the 26th Sarajevo Film Festival (SFF) were presented tonight at an online ceremony at the Sarajevo National Theater, in several categories for films screened as part of the Festival's Competition Program.

The 'Heart of Sarajevo' award for the best film went to the film "Exile" directed by Visar Morina, production of Germany, Belgium and Kosovo. The award for the best director of this year's festival was awarded to Ru Hasanov for the film "The Island Within", (Azerbaijan, France), while the Hear of Sarajevo Award for the best actress went to Marija Škaričić for the film "Mare". The best actor of the 26th edition of SFF is Vangelis Mourikis for his role in the film "Digger".

The best short film this year is "Antiotpad" directed by Tin Žanić. The Heart of Sarajevo award for the best student film went to "The Great Istanbul Depression" by Zeynep Dilan Süren. The Honorary Heart of Sarajevo award went to director Michel Franco and actor Mads Mikkelsen.

The Heart of Sarajevo award for the best documentary film went to "Merry Christmas" directed by Mladen Kovačević, and a special jury award went to "Holy Father" directed by Andrej Dascalescu. The Human Rights Award went to director Rade Ciornicic for the film "Acasa, My Home".

As part of this year's award ceremony, the 'Audentia' award went to Natalia Yefimkina's film "Garage People".
