Two people die, 118 new cases of coronavirus in RS

BANJA LUKA, August 6 (FENA) - In Republika Srpska, 488 samples were tested for coronavirus in the past 24 hours, and the infection was confirmed in 118 people, while two deaths were reported in Višegrad and Modriča.

The highest number of patients in the past 24 hours was recorded in Banja Luka (25), Gradiška (10), Doboj (9), Zvornik and Kozarska Dubica (8), announced the RS Institute of Public Health.

The total number of hospitalized in this BiH entity is 272, of which 73 at the University Clinical Center and 199 in general hospitals.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, a total of 53.239 people have been tested for SARS-CoV-2 virus in RS. The infection was confirmed in 5.345 of them, of whom 2.920 (54.63 percent) have recovered.
