SARAJEVO, August 6 (FENA) - In the past 24 hours, 919 samples were tested in the Federation of BiH, of which 128 came positive for coronavirus, said today the director of the FBiH Public Health Institute Davor Pehar at the press conference of the Crisis Staff of the FBiH Ministry of Health held over the current epidemiological situation.
According to Pehar, to date, 91,631 samples have been tested in the Federation of BiH, of which 7,828 samples were positive.
As of today, 4,072 patients in the Federation of BiH have recovered, while 3,571 cases are currently active.
Pehar stated that 296 patients are currently hospitalized in the Federation of BiH, eight of whom are on a ventilator.
Three deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours. These are women from Sarajevo, Lukavac and Živinice.
“As of today, the total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH, which we link to the Covid-19 infection, is 185. Today, we have been transferring our database to a new, larger server in order to have faster distribution of data as of from tomorrow. They also should be more precise, a better quality data, and more accessible to everyone,” stated Pehar.
