SARAJEVO, July 30 (FENA) - As part of the continuous cooperation and support in the work and development of the BiH Border Police, the off-road vehicle was handed over on Wednesday under the Export Control and Border Security Program (EXBS Program) of the United States Government, which will be used by the support and control units of the BiH Border Police.
The coordinator of the EXBS Program for BiH and Serbia handed over the keys to the director of the BiH Border Police, Zoran Galić, who said that the vehicle would greatly help improve the capacities of officers of this police agency who face the challenges of the migrant crisis.
"Since its establishment, the US Government has supported the development of the BiH Border Police with the aim of operational strengthening of this police agency.
In addition to this, the US Government has donated specialized equipment worth close to 13 million KM and organized a series of trainings for police officers," said Galić.
