SARAJEVO, July 9 (FENA) - A session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was scheduled for today, was canceled, the Council of Ministers Chairman Zoran Tegeltija confirmed to reporters.

Although all the ministers came to the session, the proposed agenda was not adopted, and Tegeltija said at the press conference that the ministers from the ranks of the Croat people were against.

They did so with the explanation that some of the items on the agenda were withdrawn at the request of Foreign Minister Bisera Turković, as well as that she announced that she would not vote for some candidates from the ranks of the Croat people.

According to Tegeltija, this is the first time that the complete agenda was rejected, and there were even expectations that some open issues would be resolved today, especially since they were already the subject of talks between the political party leaders.

Asked to explain what was disputable to Minister Turković, Tegeltija pointsedout that it was related to the proposal of the state strategy for processing war crimes, and the most controversial, according to him, were the proposed appointments to two positions in certain state institutions.

One is the position of the director of the Official Gazette, and the other is related to the agency whose department is the professional training of police personnel.

Tegeltija said that he did not put in the procedure a proposal for the appointment of Selmo Cikotić to the position of the Minister of Security of BiH. Explaining why, he referred to the agreement to name first those who have long passed all the necessary procedures.
