EAST SARAJEVO, July 7 (FENA) - Leaders of the ruling parties at the state level, Bakir Izetbegović (SDA), Dragan Čović (HDZBiH) and Milorad Dodik (SNSD) reached an agreement today at the meeting in East Sarajevo that the BiH Council of Ministers will propose the appointment of Selmo Cikotić as BiH security minister on Thursday.
That is one of items agreed at this meeting, and after the appointment of Cikotić, the appointment of the heads of other institutions at the level of BiH should follow.
Another issue that the leaders agreed on is that the state budget will be adopted in expedited procedure in a way that the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina would convene the session this week, and the House of Peoples would complete the procedure by July 21.
When it comes to amendments to the Election Law regarding holding of elections in Mostar, that issue should be resolved today and tomorrow in the BiH Parliament.
The appointment of the director of the Indirect Taxation Authority remained controversial, and the election of members of the BiH Central Election Commission is also problematic.
