Čerkez: In past 24 hrs 632 people tested, two new cases of coronavirus in FBiH

SARAJEVO, May 18 (FENA) - Member of the Crisis Staff of the FBiH Ministry of Health and Assistant Minister for Public Health Goran Čerkez said today that in the past 24 hours in FBiH, two new cases of coronavirus infection were recorded out of 632 tested.

He specified that 28.399 people have been tested so far, of which 1.006 were positive for coronavirus.

“Today we have only 26 hospitalized patients, none of them is on a ventilator,” said Čerkez.

He pointed out that in the last 24 hours, 22 patients have recovered from coronavirus, increasing total number of recovered to 804.

Čerkez reminded that 37 deaths from coronavirus have been recorded in FBiH so far.

“The measures introduced to suppress the spread of the infection have given results, and in the following period, it is responsibility of each individual to continue to adhere to measures of personal protection,” Čerkez emphasized.

He underlined that the recommendation of the Crisis Staff is that this school and academic year be completed online, and that the shopping centers should be opened between May 24 and 28.
