A member of CEC BiH Stjepan Mikić has resigned due to retirement

SARAJEVO, May 14 (FENA) - The BiH Central Election Commission (CIKBiH) member Stjepan Mikić has resigned from the position.

On Tuesday, Mikić sent a request to the Central Election Commission of BiH for termination of employment, citing retirement reasons.

Mikić's submission was sent today to the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, for further procedure, the CEC of BiH announced.

The Election Law of BiH stipulates that the act on the election and assumption of office and termination of office of a member of the Central Election Commission of BiH is passed by the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

Until then, Stjepan Mikić will perform the duty of a member of the CEC BiH, and he will participate in full capacity in the work of the CEC of BiH and decision-making, it is stated in the announcement.
